Skilled – Nominated: 190

This visa is for any individual who is a skilled worker sponsored by a state or territory of Australia. It permits the individual to live and work permanently in Australia

Skilled – Nominated: 489

This visa is for any individual who is a skilled worker sponsored by a state or territory of Australia or supported by a relative living in Australia. It is a non-permanent visa – valid for a period of 4 years from the date of issue, and requires that the individual live in a specified regional area of Australia. It also allows holders of provisional visa (495, 496, 475 and 487) to stay in Australia for up to 48 months from the date their current visa was granted.
